Meet Bishop Sheila McCray
Dr. McCray was prepared and fashioned for the ministry under the auspices of the Late Elder Daisy Russell, Pastor of Ebenezer Faith Temple Holiness Church, Brooklyn, NY. In 1984, she was licensed as an Evangelist and began traveling globally, preaching and teaching the Good News of Jesus Christ.
She was educated in the New York City public school system and colleges. In 1988, her thrust for knowledge and spiritual wisdom led her to attend Rehoboth Gospel Assembly Institute, Nyack College, along with other educational training programs to fulfill her passion for soul-winning. She has a Bachelor of Theology degree, Master of Arts in Theology, and Honorary Doctorate degrees in Sacred Letters, Divinity, and Foreign Missions for her dedication and outstanding services. Sheila is a certified temperament counselor and an International Chaplain.
From 1999 until 2008, she was mentored and diligently worked alongside her Overseer, the Late Bishop Dr. Denzel Cameron of the International Evangelical Mission Ministry. On February 10, 2002, she was ordained Pastor, and in April 2004, she was installed as Pastor and Founder of the International Gospel of Peace Deliverance Center, Inc. in Brooklyn, New York. In October 2009, the Philadelphia Council of Bishops (PCB) consecrated her to the office of Bishop, and she served as the New York State Bishop within the Council. She was re-affirmed and installed as Presiding Prelate and General Overseer of The International Fellowship Ministries, Inc. (TIFM). After serving in the Apostolic office for over a decade, Bishop Dr. Sheila V. McCray was Affirmed as an Apostle on June 30, 2019. Dr. McCray serves as Pastor of Ebenezer Faith Temple Holiness Church, 496 Gates Avenue in Brooklyn, New York.
Apostle Dr. McCray serves on the Board of Unlimited Alms Inc., a community-based organization that serves locally and abroad by providing supportive services to those in need. Dr. McCray serves as the First Assistant on the board of the Kingdom United Ecclesiastic Reform Council (KUERC) of Apostles and Bishops, alongside its Founder, Chief Apostle Dr. Michael A. Frith. Apostle McCray’s love for missionary work encouraged her to build an international mission ministry and expand the network in various countries. The mission of the TIFM Network is designed to bring together the body of Christ in training sessions in a collaborative effort to equip, enable, and empower a new generation of leaders. “We are better together.” Apostle McCray travels, hosting and speaking in conferences, seminars, marriage workshops, crusades, revivals, and global outreach programs. As an Apostolic covering and leader, she endeavors to strategically and purposefully help to set government order in the Body of Christ. She works towards the unification of the brethren to be kingdom-driven, with the same mandate where God’s dominion is a top priority in fulfilling the assignment of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
